As a Business Operations Manager, candidate will be responsible to define, deliver and refine business process flows, business planning and logistics, business support IT systems & integrations with internal/external mfg. systems. The primary focus includes supporting the Automotive Business Unit in managing all areas of inventory management including demand planning, manufacturing, supply, customer allocation, internal engineering, and product management requirements.

Candidate will collaborate with various level of team members within the Automotive business unit as well as Supply Chain and Sourcing functions and other business units. The functional areas that the candidate will be interacting are as follow: Engineering, Customer Engineering, Finance, Business Operations, IT, and many other as needed. A successful candidate will drive the continuous improvement of the business systems for operational efficiency, effectiveness, optimization, and quality systems with the goal to achieve successful product delivery, customer adoption and execution of Automotive BU business objectives.

Responsibilities:

+ Anticipate and advocate for the operational needs of new products and services

+ Lead continuous process improvement initiatives with internal business partners by leading and facilitate workshop sessions with stakeholders using analysis, data and input from customers and industry

+ Partner with business leaders to identify and drive initiatives to meet their objectives, improve performance and increase operational efficiency

+ Deliver enhancements to supporting business systems to improve customer interactions, tracking, reporting, etc.

+ Map out business process flows and collaborate to deliver end to end e-business systems that evolve and adopt to growing new business unit to operational excellence.

Minimum Qualifications

+ Master’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related field.

+ Master of Business Administration.

+ Minimum of 15+ years of technical and operational work experience

+ Proven ability to partner with Senior Business Leaders to solicit input on initiatives, build consensus and influence when necessary; ability to prioritize and manage expectations for both internal and external needs

+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and make business focused recommendations including modeling skills for both financial and compensation applications.

+ Strong business acumen and stakeholder engagement including understanding of Engineering, Product Marketing, Sales, Operations, Quality, Finance and Legal risk implications, with ability to work collaboratively and to cultivate and sustain strong partnerships.

+ Strong planning and project management skills, with ability to drive and sustain operational excellence and develop controls.

+ Financial ability to identify and implement cost-effective programs.

+ Demonstrated strong leadership experience with involvement in execution as well as the development of strategic initiatives.

+ Exceptional verbal, written and presentation skills, including ability to prepare materials for audiences at all levels of the organization.

+ Expert level use of Excel and solid proficiency in Microsoft Office (including PowerPoint and Word).

+ Desire to work in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment; ability to work well under pressure and to manage multiple priorities.

+ Experience working within a large, complex, and matrixed organization

Preferred Qualifications:

+ 15+ years’ experience in managing complex mobile wireless technical issues

+ 5+ years’ experience with operational and project management skills

+ 5+ years of work experience in a role requiring interaction with senior leadership (e.g., Director level and above).

+ 5+ years’ experience working in a large matrixed organization.

+ 5+ years of combined skillset in the following areas:

+ Team leadership

+ Presentation skills to executive teams (written and verbal communication skills)

+ Facilitating workshop sessions for cross functional and multi-level team members

+ Collaborative, teamwork mindset

+ Proven organizational and planning skills
