Overview

Under the supervision of the State Park Interpreter II, District Services Manager, or the Regional Interpretive Specialist, this uniformed position reports to the Anza-Borrego Desert State Park Visitor Center in Borrego Springs, CA.  The position is responsible for performing routine public contact work in State Park facilities and grounds, and assisting with educational programs. The park aide will answer questions in person and over the phone on rules and regulations, park facilities, and park features for the public and other related work. Bilingual language skills are desirable, but not required.

Applications must be postmarked by October 30, 2021. Interviews will be conducted in the following weeks.  Applicants must be able to travel to Borrego Springs for their in-person interview.  Phone interviews are available for those living over 100 miles away.

 

Dorm room employee housing may be available.
