Overview

Under the general direction of the Office Chief of Project Management, a Staff Services Manager II (SSMII),  in the Planning and Modal Program (PMP), Program Management Division, the Staff Services Manager I (SSM I) serves as the PMO Development & Implementation Management Branch Chief. During major development and implementation efforts, this position will work under a matrixed organizational structure, reporting to the assigned champion (PMP Division Chief) as well as the Office Chief of Project Management. The incumbent will be responsible for assessing needs as well as developing and implementing new project and program management tools, processes, or principles that meets the needs of the PMP organization. The incumbent ensures that all new tools, processes, and principles adhere to project management best practices, processes and procedures.
