This position serves as the Resource Capacity Manager for the Office of Resource Management & Business Services within the Planning and Modal Divisions. Under the general direction of the Deputy Division Chief, the Staff Services Manager (SSM) I is responsible for managing the overall Budget Capacity for the Planning and Modal Divisions. The incumbent is responsible for monitoring the Division ‘s resources and holds the responsibility for the Division’s budgetary and resources efforts, including analyzing and creating complex budget reports to maximize use of funds. The incumbent will monitor use of operating expenditure funds (OE) , as well as strategize and make recommendations to mitigate funding liabilities, provide reporting to management, and coordinating with staff on encumbrance management to assure timely use of funds and utilizing all funding capacity.
