Under the general direction of the Deputy District Director, Planning and Local Assistance, the incumbent is responsible for performing a wide range of engineering and administrative tasks in responsible charge of the District’s Local Assistance Branch. The position acts as the District point of contact for all local agencies within its jurisdiction for matters pertaining to the various Federal and State funding programs that are administered by the Local Assistance Branch. The incumbent works in a team environment to deliver the Local Assistance Program, and provides quality customer service while ensuring that Federal and State policies and procedures are being adhered to. The incumbent is also familiar with the Caltrans project development process and policies and procedures.
