Title: MAT Dual Credentialed Provider
Schedule: Monday – Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. with possible variability

Salary Range: $37.85 – $53.00 per hour

Position Summary: This position will be filled by a person who is licensed to provide both mental health services and substance use disorder services in Washington State. Acceptable licensure includes those in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, or Marriage and Family Therapy and a chemical dependency professional credential.
Working under the supervision of the Medically Assisted Treatment (MAT) Program Manager and in collaboration with a team of professionals, the person filling this position will provide group and individual counseling that incorporates a variety of strengths-based, culturally informed therapeutic modalities in order to provide therapeutic intervention to patients with Opioid Use Disorder or other disorders treated through the MAT program. Effective treatment interventions will include an individual treatment plan and treatment outcomes will be documented.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities include the following, and other related duties as assigned.
Demonstrates the knowledge, competency, and skills necessary to meet the clinical needs of patients as well as the clinical and administrative documentation skills that meet/exceed best practice standards.
Provides comprehensive diagnostic assessments for clients including both mental health and substance use disorders.
Provides individual and group therapy utilizing various psychological techniques and therapies with an emphasis on treating co-occurring disorders.
Develops, coordinates, and conducts group therapy sessions in accordance with accepted principles.
Provides crisis intervention as needed including safety planning and relapse prevention planning.
Document’s therapy-related activities in accordance with established procedures and observance of confidentiality with regard to client services.
Coordinate’s care of clients with the referral source, family, and other organizations
Involved in the client’s care to further the effectiveness of the treatment program.
Assesses client’s needs and progress and develops and modifies individual service plans accordingly.
Attends meetings and participates in committees as requested by the Program Manager.
Cultivates and maintains knowledge about medically assisted treatment.
Demonstrates good independent judgment, adapts to new duties, and functions well in a changing environment.
Participates in professional/cultural development activities.
Demonstrates strong interpersonal communication skills.
Maintains appropriate licensure.
Completes other duties as assigned.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Current Washington State Mental Health Counselor License, Marriage and Family Therapy License or Clinical Social Worker License; alternatively a Mental Health Counselor Associate License, Marriage and Family Therapy Associate License or Social Worker Associate Independent Clinical License may be acceptable with the commitment to accrue supervised hours under the direction of the Program Manager and the Clinical Supervisor, together with the commitment to pursue licensure upon completion of the required supervised hours.
Current Washington State Chemical Dependency Professional License
Maintains Basic Life Support/CPR Certification
Must submit and pass a drug screening and background check
Must submit to and pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
