This role manages operational initiatives for the Nuvia engineering team and implements process and infrastructure improvements, which may include the following: development process enhancements, resource planning and management, operational reviews, lessons learned and corrective actions, budget control, content management, and project metrics.

Responsibilities:

+ Providing process, analysis, support, transparency, and insight on product development to support definition and execution of engineering deliverables supporting Nuvia business priorities and strategic roadmap initiatives within established budgets.

+ Manage analytics platform systems requirements and also engineering compute forecasting (including, but not limited to demand forecast, IT/finance reviews, allocation and tracking utilization, etc.) to ASIC HW engineering teams across multiple chipset programs

+ Managing and tracking operational and headcount budgets and drive analysis on trade-offs to support continuously evolving business needs.

+ Working cross functionally with various teams (i.e., finance, engineering, program management, other engineering operations teams) to forecast and set budgets for programs to meet customer demands.

+ Coordination across multiple domestic and international development sites and cross-functional teams spanning SoC development, systems, and software will be required.

+ Partnering with the business, third party vendors, and the broader functional teams to plan and operationalize engineering execution supporting overall business strategy including coordinating trade-offs across the organization’s CAPEX budget and facilities planning.

+ Establish routine update & communication process: update status, trends vs. baseline, risk management, mitigation, and recovery actions. Develop program indicators to push information to internal teams and management.

Minimum Qualifications

+ Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering plus 10 years of experience.

+ Computer proficient and literate (fluent in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project). Hands on experience using excel pivots and functions: SUMIFs, Index/Match, SUMIFs, and conditions.

+ Proven leadership in a technical, operational and/or program management role

+ Detail oriented individual with excellent communication skills

+ Developed set of core competencies including analytical ability and timely decision making

+ Team player and mentor, managing both up and down the organization

+ Ability to think “outside the box” while maintaining common sense and ethical behavior.

+ Solid knowledge of engineering/business processes to provide guidance and direction in meaningful data gathering, parsing, and analysis resulting in transparent and accurate reporting.

+ Emphasis on cultivating trusting professional relationships working across teams to build consistency and quality of deliverables.

+ Inspire transparency while retaining confidentiality across both internal and external interfaces

+ Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.

+ Experienced in providing regular executive level communication.

Preferred Qualifications

+ Master’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or related field.

+ Prior experience in engineering process improvement with a goal to deploy/improve decisions based on data analysis.

+ Knowledge of System-On-Chip development. Understanding of embedded HW/ ASIC design and architecture is a plus.

+ Proven skills in communication, negotiation, and dealing with and resolving difficult and complex situations.

+ Experience with M&A and working with legal on third party agreements & IP sharing initiatives.

Physical Requirements

• Frequently transports between offices, buildings, and campuses up to ½ mile.

• Frequently transports and installs equipment up to 5 lbs.

• Performs required tasks at various heights (e.g., standing or sitting).

• Monitors and utilizes computers and test equipment for more than 6 hours a day.

• Continuous communication which includes the comprehension of information with colleagues, customers, and vendors both in person and remotely.
