The Director of Supply Chain Master Planning will develop and lead a master planning team focusing the key balance of supply and demand for Qualcomm semiconductor business. This is the key function to comprehend demand signal, work with global capacity planning, production control, manufacturing operations, and other cross function department to develop production build plan and short-mid term supply projection plan and direct the process to allocate up to regional level. You will motivate, lead, and guide master planners to continue develop process and tool, working with IT, BPA, and other planning organizations for planning efficiency, increase collaborations with internal and external partners and ensure the translation of demand into supply plan work seamlessly and serve business units expectations. You will work with sales and customer service to prioritize order fulfillment and achieve on-time delivery goals. You will also work with product supply team to match supply plan to customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Match customer orders/ demand to product supply in accordance with corporation strategy.

+ Work with supply team/network to suggest changes in product supply to meet customer requirements.

+ Drive closure of delinquent orders and prioritize customer requested delivery escalations.

+ Develop work processes within planning team to ensure consistency and efficiency of tasks.

+ Institutionalization of KPI & plan vs actuals monitoring visualizations and dashboards for continuous root-cause identification, corrective actions and optimal MRP planning parameters/settings/filter maintenance.

+ Work with cross-functional team to understand business needs and continue identify opportunities for business process optimization and improvement.

+ Key participation into supply planning portions of monthly S&OP process. Responsible to work with other global supply chain team to allocate supply to specific region based on Business priorities.

+ Constantly monitor desired inventory levels, priorities and customer service goals are achieved with proper collaboration with capacity and material planning and balancing.

+ Develop and support integrated S&OP planning tools and framework to obtain BU and cross functional approval through decision support, scenario planning and predictive performance indicators.

Minimum Qualifications:

+ 10+ years experience in semiconductor supply chain demand, master planning, fulfillment, inventory optimization field

+ 5+ years experience in people managerial roles

+ Understanding of semiconductor end to end supply chain, key bottle neck capacity planning, production scheduling, and execution processes

+ Proven ability to think critically and solve problems

+ Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment

+ Proven record working with business unit executives, IT, BPA, suppliers, sourcing, engineering, and operations functions

+ Understanding and experience with corporate ERP system, MRP, inventory control, configuration management, product life cycle management, B2B data feeding, and financial responsibility for supply chain planning.

+ Experienced in advanced planning tools like Kinaxis Rapid Response

+ Ability to make data driven decisions with limited time and limited information

+ 10 + years experience in semiconductor planning related people management role

+ Outstanding communication skills

Education:

+ Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related engineering or business functions.
