Lead the engagement function within the Employee Communications, Change and Engagement (ECCE) Center of Expertise. Utilize creativity, data driven insights, industry benchmarking, stakeholder involvement, and business goals to inform Qualcomm’s employee engagement strategy, delivering programs and initiatives that enhance the overall employee experience, with a strong focus on scaling globally.
+ Oversee local and global engagement events, including companywide celebrations, family events, work/life balance programs, culture campaigns, contests, etc.
+ Oversee global programs such as employee clubs, employee volunteering, and the employee ambassador program.
+ Partner with other HR functions on engagement-related initiatives, such as NEE (New Employee Experience, Employee Value Proposition, digital communication strategies, and Future of Work.
+ Collaborate with global HR partners to create a suite of toolkits for family programming, work/life balance, teambuilding, and volunteering activities.
+ Use data and analytics to assess the effectiveness of employee engagement initiatives and provide recommendations to enhance future strategies.
+ Leverage philanthropic giving relationships for employee/community interactions, experiences, and volunteer opportunities.
+ Manage Employee Engagement budget.
+ Manage external consultant and vendor contracts to deliver employee-facing programs.
+ Bachelor’s degree and 7+ (9+ for Sr. Manager) years of experience in an Employee Engagement or Employee Communications role or related work experience; OR
+ Associate’s degree or equivalent and 9+ (11+ for Sr. Manager) years of Employee Engagement or Employee Communications experience or related work experience; OR
+ High school Diploma or equivalent and 11+ (13+ for Sr. Manager) years of Employee Engagement or Employee Communications experience or related work experience.
+ Experience in building, delivering, and measuring high-impact employee engagement programs for a diverse global workforce.
+ Strong program or project management experience with ability to lead teams and to drive and deliver on implementation plans.
+ Ability to build relationships, partner with, and influence others. Comfortable interacting with senior leadership.
+ Skilled and comfortable at driving strategy.
+ Excellent presentation, interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
+ Experience using data and metrics for program evaluation and to drive continuous improvement.
+ Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Psychology, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or related field and 8+ years of experience in an Employee Engagement or Employee Communications
+ People management experience with ability to direct work, coach, and develop others.
