Help guide the overall hiring strategy of the organization to ensure our teams
consist of a diverse collection of top talent and unique personalities additive to our distinct culture
Cultivate a rich pool of top talent eager to join our team as the need arises, always staying on top of both near- and long-term team needs
Develop and oversee an Evolv team branding initiative
Devise and implement sourcing strategies to build pipelines of potential applicants
Create and implement end-to-end industry leading talent identification, selection and onboarding process
Form close relationships with hiring managers to ensure clear candidate/interviewer expectations
Scale Evolv’s culture and help build programs that serve as talent magnets
Coordinate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs in different areas of the business
Determine compelling and concise selection criteria for candidates by liaising with managers and other members of staff
Source applicants through online channels, such as LinkedIn and other professional networks
Draft, proofread, and post job descriptions and create interview questions that reflect the requirements for each position
Establish a distinct and common language/tone/manner for all search specs to be evocative and consistently represent our brand globally
Identify and efficiently direct our focus to the most suitable talent from available candidates
Create an Evolv specific panel-based assessment and selection process for talent selection that is logical, appropriately rigorous, and repeatable in accurately assessing skill level and culture fit
Plan interview and selection procedures, including screening calls, assessments, and in-person interviews – if possible
Assess candidates’ information, including C.Vs., portfolios and references
Seek out emerging and non-traditional pathways and approaches to sourcing candidates
Work with Diversity and Inclusion consultants and internal employee resource group to aid in the identification and implementation of best practices
Keep records of all materials used for recruitment, including interview notes and related paperwork, to share with key stakeholders
Adhere to international and domestic personal data privacy regulations
Prepare a weekly summary report for hiring managers on tasks completed or in progress
Champion, role model, and embed Evolv’s values across a geographically dispersed org
Pilot new programs (social impact, wellness, performance) with the HR team to create a compelling employee value proposition.
Skills & Qualifications
3+ years of experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist, or similar
Ability to scan large volumes of resumes
Familiarity with social media, C.V. databases, and professional networks
Experience with full-cycle recruiting, using various interview techniques and evaluation methods
Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems
Experience in using various online resources to proactively source candidates
An innate aptitude for developing a keen understanding of the requirements for each role in the company
Proficiency in documenting processes and keeping up with industry trends
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and time management skills
Experience using LinkedIn Talent Solutions and Lever
Certification obtained from an HR Certification program would be advantageous
Must be located and authorized to work in the US.
