The responsibilities of this role include:• Works under supervision.• Requires verbal and written communication skills to convey information that may be somewhat complex to others who may have limited knowledge of the subject in question. Role may require negotiation and influence, cooperation, tact, and diplomacy, etc.• Decisions are moderate in nature. Most errors can be detected and corrected with relatively minor effect on projects, operations, or customer relationships.• Some tasks require multiple steps which must be performed in a specific order; directions or manuals can accurately document the steps necessary to perform the task.• Deductive problem solving is required to solve moderately complex problems; most problems have defined processes of diagnosis/detection.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Provides support for end-to-end job analysis projects, including scheduling, sampling, stakeholder interaction, statistical analysis, and the completion of project deliverables. • Conducts focus groups and interviews, develops and administered Job Analysis Questionnaires (JAQs), researches jobs and positions, and leverages other data gathering techniques to develop and validate job content such as job descriptions, leveling guides, competency guides, and structured interview questions.• Applies knowledge of job analyses, content development, selection and assessment procedures and guidelines, and applicable laws to share insights and recommendations within the Job Analysis Team.• Provides support for external consulting partner(s) to ensure job analysis projects meet project goals and deadlines.• Presents basic technical information to non-technical audiences.• Seeks knowledge of various areas related to I-O Psychology, including job analysis, content development, selection and assessment, performance management and all applicable best practices, guidelines, and laws.• Updates and maintains job content in our cloud-based software vendor (Workday) as necessary.• Writes clear and detailed technical documentation for projects.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and 2+ years of Data analytics, HR, Consulting, or related field
· Associate’s degree or equivalent and 4+ years of Data analytics, HR, Consulting, or related field
· High School Diploma or equivalent and 6+ years of Data analytics, HR, Consulting, or related field
• Master’s degree in Industrial-Organization Psychology or equivalent field.• 1+ years of any combination of work, internship, and/or education experience supporting Job Analysis projects. • PhD in Industrial-Organization Psychology or equivalent field.• 1+ years of work experience supporting and/or leading Job Analysis projects.
Physical Requirements: • Frequently transports between offices, buildings, and campuses up to ½ mile. • Frequently transports and installs equipment up to 5 lbs.• Performs required tasks at various heights (e.g., standing or sitting).• Monitors and utilizes computers and test equipment for more than 6 hours a day. • Continuous communication which includes the comprehension of information with colleagues, customers, and vendors both in person and remotely.
