We are looking for a Social Media expert to join the digital marketing team. This position would lead the strategy and operation of Qualcomm’s corporate social channels and our employee advocacy program. The ideal candidate is a real-life “social media guru” who understands social media trends, best practices for both B2B and B2C brands, and can ideate, refine, present, and execute world class social media programs. Role would be either a Manager or Sr. Manager depending on the candidate’s level and qualifications
+ Lead content planning, manage the publishing calendar, and review all social content for our global corporate social channels – writing and editing social copy as appropriate
+ Manage the social creative agency and oversee all creative assets to ensure they are on brand & align with the social platform best practices
+ Educate internal stakeholders on social strategy and best practices to ensure campaigns adhere to creative guidelines
+ Oversee the community management process, including managing a community manager and the monitoring of brand channels on Reddit, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram
+ Manage social media reporting and make recommendations based on performance
+ Coordinate internally with other social media leads for regions and other business units – working to share content ideas and providing global leadership and guidance on social media best practices
+ Run the employee advocacy program – managing all aspects of program, including recruitment, content curation, platform maintenance, and strategic direction
+ Manage all contracts for existing and future Social Media Management tools
+ 7-10 years of social media marketing experience
+ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
+ Up to date on the latest social media trends and how to use them in B2B and B2C marketing plans
+ Experience working with a social media management system – Sprinklr experience a plus
+ Experience managing social communities on Reddit, Facebook, Twitter, & Instagram
+ Familiarity and comfort with China-based platfroms such as Weibo, WeChat and Douyin
+ Strong organizational abilities and skilled in prioritization and multi-stakeholder communication
+ Responsive, responsible and be able to use data to advise others and make recommendations
+ Can communicate easily with both technical and non-technical colleagues
+ Tech industry experience a big plus
+ Willingness to learn and interest in problem-solving
+ Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
