Manage sales, marketing and sales administration of Vision aftermarket products including, but not limited to, Annual Service Contracts, Upgrades, Warranties and Software Training.



•  Provide high quality customer experience when communicating about Nikon Metrology Services.

•  Assist in contract inspection quoting, as needed.

•  Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow up and outbound cold calls and emails.

•  Define technical application requirements and translate customer requirements into internal specification documents and communications..

•  Coordinate and route qualified opportunities for further development and closure.

•  Confirm with factory engineering on system upgrade options and capabilities.

•  Assist in trade show preparation, demonstration and support.

•  Coordination and preparation of presentations to customers using Microsoft PowerPoint.

•  Creation and management of upgrade opportunities in CRM.

•  Issuing quotations for upgrades, training, annual contracts and software to customers.

•  Increase service contract retention and customer spend on aftermarket services.

•  Increase implementation of warranty contracts.

•  Work with field business development managers to identify, quote and close upgrades.

•  Work with service team to ensure technical aspects are met.

•  Stay current on latest technical advancements and understand system requirements for upgrades.

•  Monitor, track and report weekly quoting/invoicing and incoming leads.

•  Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest.

•  Maintain and generate prospects with regular proactive communication to find new business.



•  Distribute pertinent technical information to sales personnel.

•  Develop marketing literature with marketing.

•  Develop email blasts with Marketing.

•  Work with individual field salespersons to develop upgrades in their territories.

•  Work with individual field salespersons to develop opportunity lists in their territories.

•  Reporting projects for the VP Strategic Marketing and Business Development X-Ray Products.

•  Contribute to maintaining accurate customer data in CRM.

•  Back up Contract Inspection quoting as needed.




•  BA/BS degree or equivalent in Business or Technical field


•  Office management experience



Functional competencies

•  Previous experience in technical sales and account management

•  Strong phone presence and experience and personality capable of making a large number of daily calls

•  Excellent verbal and written skills

•  Proficient with corporate productivity and web presentation tools

•  Strong listening and presentation skills

•  Experience working within a corporate CRM environment

•  Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time effectively.
