Segue Technologies, A Tetra Tech Company seeks a Maximo Software Engineer to provide deliverable-focused development, maintenance, and sustainment support for IBM Maximo, MIF interfaces and related enterprise applications. The Software Engineer will play a key role in supporting ongoing application development, maintenance and support tasks.
This is a full-time remote position. Occasional travel expected to the Indian Affairs Office in Albuquerque, NM or nearest Indian Affairs office (less than 10%)

Job Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Work independently and as part of a team to analyze issues, requirements, changing/evolving business needs and translate these into processes and/or software development tasks
Provide development support for IBM Maximo and integrations with external applications/systems including other technologies involved in the technology stack
Provide development support for O&M Modeling Capability in Maximo using an embedded O&M Formula and catalog and improve “Attachments” library in Maximo
Perform Maximo version upgrades
Evaluate and implement new features in Maximo such as Cognos
Develop and enhance reports using Maximo reporting mechanism such as BIRT Reporting
Prepare, review, update SDLC document
Provide input and review Maximo training material
Additional tasks as required
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT Systems, Software Engineering or another technical field, or related major. Relevant technical experience may be substituted for the bachelor’s degree
5+ years of software engineering/development experience
3+ years demonstrated experience with Maximo (versions 18.104.22.168, 7.6.1.x and Maximo 8)
Development and maintenance experience with Maximo including TRM rules, Maximo automation scripting, MIF and BIRT Reports
Development and maintenance of Maximo interfaces with external applications/systems
Experience using SQL Server including T-SQL, stored procedures, indexes, etc.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervisory direction
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Must hold or be able to pass a Federal Background investigation to obtain a T1 (also known as Public Trust or NACI)
- Experience with Redhat OpenShift, Kafka, Kubernetes and Containers
Knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS)
Knowledge of Bureau of Indian Affairs FMS system and related applications
