Seneca Global Solutions is looking to hire a DoD Radio Frequency & Electronic Warfare SME to support our government client in Orlando, FL. This position requires an active Secret clearance.
The qualified candidate will provide SME support, study designs, research, technical assessments, and policy recommendations on existing and emerging technologies critical to the United States maintaining superior military capabilities. The ideal candidate will be located within commuting distance to Orlando, FL.
Primary responsibilities include:
Provide technical recommendations and analysis for the program manager
Design and support execution of studies to identify gaps in test & evaluation approaches for EW, radar. Studies will include consideration of advanced technologies such as machine learning, AI.
Facilitate assessments of the confluence of technology concerns, business concerns, foreign involvement, and how that involvement might affect DoD modernization priorities, warfighting capabilities, technology advantage, and associated test and evaluation investments
Identify activities and investments on the part of the DoD, its industry partners, and the extended global technology base to improve DoD’s abilities to develop, build, and field the system and mission capabilities it needs to retain military advantage and support U.S. interests
Provide recommendations to mitigate foreign ownership, control, influence, cyber penetration, and other exploitation threats to the US technology and manufacturing industrial base
Research and analyze EW equipment capabilities for proper application and interpretation of existing policy positions; assessing the impacts to US forces of advanced EW capabilities and presenting estimates to leadership, DoD, and interagency groups
Active Secret clearance (Top Secret preferred)
Experience with the DoD, especially with either DoD S&T, DoD Acquisition, DoD testing and/or DoD test ranges.
DAWIA certification courses in Test & Evaluation preferred
Bachelor’s degree in engineering discipline
10+ years of experience with electrical engineering and/or radio frequencies
Expert knowledge of the DoD processes, policies, and guidance
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent customer service skills, with an advanced understanding of customer relationship building
Proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
Master’s degree or PhD in engineering discipline preferred
Knowledge of Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) organizational structures, functions, and communication protocols
