Job Description:

Seneca Solutions is looking to hire a IT Support Specialist (Junior) to support our government client in San Francisco, CA.  This position requires a Public Trust clearance.  As part of Seneca Global Services’ support to the United States Coast Guard (USCG) Military Health System (MHS) GENESIS Sustainment Training Support contract, provide MHS GENESIS Print Server and Local Printing Support.  Position will be primarily virtual, but would like the person to be located within commuting distance (50 miles or less) from San Francisco, CA.

 

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

1. Provide maintenance and upkeep of MHS GENESIS printing-related training and job-aid materials.
2. Provide training support for local printing devices, to include:
a. Advanced technical support for sustainment of MHS GENESIS print servers.
b. Support to MHS GENESIS Super Users for triage and resolution of MHS GENESIS printing device helpdesk tickets.
c. Establish and maintain a monthly summary of tickets assigned for support, incorporating the following data:
– USCG and DHA Ticket Numbers.
– Result of Follow-Up/Ticket Action Taken (if applicable; example: ticket updated/assigned/closed or updated with additional information).
– Summary of current status (for tickets not closed/resolved by the end of the reporting month).
– Other reporting metrics, as assigned.

Requirements:

A minimum of three (3) years’ experience supporting computer information systems training, tools, software installs, and upgrades.
A minimum of three (3) years’ experience supporting Windows Print Server and virtual server implementations.
A minimum of two (2) years’ experience supporting Cerner Millenium Electronic Health Record (EHR) software connected devices and peripherals.
Ability to maintain an appropriate degree of knowledge, skill, and ability to provide functional support and perform system status checks (as needed) during system trouble ticket resolution.
Must be fluent in verbal and written English and English medical terminology.
