PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Establish collaborative relationships with Engineering, Program Mgmt, Product Mgmt, and Finance• Support forecasting, tracking, and reporting of resources (Regular, Temporary, Intern, Consultants), including target headcount management for functional Engineering VPs• Coordinate project headcount planning in Tempus based on Engineering roadmaps and what if scenarios• Plan and analyze resources sharing between Automotive and other business units (labor cross charge)• Track and validate Engineering project charging to support internal reporting and contract billing• Consolidate Budgets for non-labor expenditures, such as capital or development/test platforms• Facilitate demand planning, ordering, and distribution of test equipment for Engineering teams• Partner with Procurement to create and track SOWs for Engineering engagements• Lead meetings to review and analyze data with functional Engineering teams and domain managers• Drive improvements to new and established processes and reporting to increase efficiencies across teams• Maintain and implement dept and project attributes to enable dynamic planning and reportingCOMPETENCIES: • Analytical Skills – The ability to collect information and identify fundamental patterns/trends in data. This includes the ability to leverage available resources to get things done and lay out tasks in sufficient detail. This also includes the ability to work on multiple tasks at once without losing track, and foresee and plan around obstacles.• Technical Knowledge – Knowledge of one or more engineering operational focus areas (e.g., project management, finance, budget and HC planning, procurement, vendor management, demand planning, and space planning) to support the engineering operations management function. This includes knowledge of the relevant tools and processes related to assigned projects.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

+ Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, Business, or related field OR Associate’s degree or equivalent with 2 years of relevant work experience OR High School diploma or equivalent with 4 years of relevant work experience.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

+ Master’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or related field.

+ Relevant certification (PMP, Six Sigma, Finance).

+ 2+ years experience in data management and analysis in Excel, TM1, Tempus, Tableau or other programs.

+ 3+ years experience supporting Engineering Operations, Engineering Finance, project or program management.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

+ Frequently transports between offices, buildings and campuses up to ½ mile.

+ Frequently transports and install equipment up to 5 lbs.

+ Performs required tasks at various heights (e.g. standing or sitting).

+ Monitors and utilizes computers and test equipment for more than 6 hours a day.

+ Continuous communication which includes the comprehension of information with colleagues, customers and vendors both in person and remotely.
