The Position and Leadership Opportunity

Kodiak Area Native Association seeks an experienced leader with the ability to sustain relationships to serve as their Health Services Officer (HSO). The incoming leader will report to the Vice President of Health Services and provide operational, administrative, and strategic guidance and support to Ancillary Services (Lab, Pharmacy, Physical Therapy, and Wellness Center), Dental, and Behavioral Health services. As a Kodiak-based leader, the HSO will lead a team of five health directors and indirectly supervise 67 health services staff. The HSO will embrace KANA’s values and ensure that resources align with the strategic vision while designing and operationalizing health services strategic initiatives.

The HSO will be a strategic partner to the health services leadership team, which includes the VP of Health Services, Chief Medical Officer, Health Operations Officer, and Quality Officer. The HSO will be a bridge builder focused on enhancing collaboration across health services to deliver high-quality, patient-centered healthcare. In this new role at KANA, the HSO will provide essential leadership capacity and direction to support the development and mentorship of the health directors and their teams.

Application Process

The annual salary range is between $140,000 – $165,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience. KANA provides generous benefits and relocation.
