About This Position:

As the Sr. Marketing Campaign Strategist, Online Summits & Events you are a critical part of the team responsible for the performance of our well-established product line of online summits, as well as new and emerging product line of festivals and other types of online events. This role oversees the development of comprehensive marketing campaigns that focus on driving lead-generation, interest-based engagement and achieving revenue goals.

This role requires solid strategic and tactical marketing experience in the B2C online summit (or “online event”) space, as well as strong project management and writing skills. You will function as a key driver and integral team player in optimizing cross-functional collaboration between our marketing and product development (transformational learning) teams, with an analytical, customer-journey focused approach to achieving sales success. Experience in developing strategic copy for social media that focuses on driving lead-generation and interest-based engagement is also desirable.

As a campaign strategist for the product marketing team, reporting to the Director of Product Marketing for Summits, the ideal candidate will have a strategic mindset and the necessary skills to develop a creative marketing vision/strategy and use their organizational skills to implement, attract, engage and convert leads.

To be effective, you will use data and testing techniques to acquire deep knowledge of our customers to drive positioning, messaging and innovation that produces results. You’re able to effectively combine strategic and analytical abilities with an innovative, creative mindset and analytical abilities with an innovative, creative mindset and strong interpersonal skills.

For this role, success will depend on the candidate’s ability to know when to drive and when to support, as well as effectively balance innovation with the practical day-to-day deliverables that come with executing a multi-faceted online summit campaign. Attention to detail, an eye for quality, a customer-focused mindset and an obsession with tracking performance are also critical to success in this role.

Other critical marketing responsibilities include developing marketing briefs, interfacing with summit hosts and speakers, and providing input for audience targeting and segmentation, marketing analytics, and brand messaging. Effective collaboration with copywriters and content creators to execute successful direct response campaigns (including email, affiliate, content marketing, paid advertising, and social media) as part of the overall integrated strategic and tactical marketing experience in the B2C space is essential.
