The Suquamish Tribe Wellness Department seeks a full time Chemical Dependency Professional to provide case management services to clients assessed with substance use disorders including group and/or individual counseling, referral services as needed for clients and/or family members, individualized service planning (ISP), monthly status/court reports, discharge summaries, and outreach to clients and/or family members as needed.   The incumbent will assist in organizing and providing community education presentations both off site and cross-departmental in accordance with Suquamish Tribe Wellness Center’s mission statement.  Demonstrated skills in using a computer and MS Office software, with the ability to learn other program specific software applications.  Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills.  Must be willing to work evenings.   Experience with meeting the unique needs of Native American populations is preferred.


Must hold a current Chemical Dependency Professional (CDP) or Chemical Dependency Professional Trainee (CDPT) certification;  Bachelor’s degree preferred, however, an AA degree will be considered on a case by case basis with experience in the substance use disorder field.


State/Tribal/Federal Criminal Background check required

Valid WA State Driver’s License required
