The Suquamish Tribe is recruiting for a Surveillance Manager in the Gaming Dept. The Surveillance Manager assigns caseloads and all forms of investigations relating to criminal investigations, compliance issues, and any irregularities found within the confines of the Suquamish Clearwater Casino to Surveillance Staff. Maintains and controls the records regarding criminal and compliance investigations conducted by Surveillance staff. Conducts monthly staff meetings, and provides for training of STGC Surveillance Staff as directed. He/she will maintain physical evidence for case preparation and an audit trail for Surveillance investigations. He/she will maintain a case/incident file system as required by the Suquamish Tribal Gaming Ordinance, Tribe-State Compact, and National Indian Gaming Commission (NIGC) Regulations. He/she must have an excellent working knowledge of the Indian Gaming Regulatory Act, NIGC Regulations, the Suquamish Tribal Gaming Ordinance, and Tribe-State Compact. He/she must be able to work with outside agencies such as the WSGC, NIGC, Tribal and Local Law Enforcement. The incumbent conducts the day-to-day monitoring and enforcement of regulations, internal controls, game rules and security of gaming operations including gambling related investigations, gambling surveillance, and reporting responsibilities.
Must have a minimum of 1 year supervisory experience.
Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Gaming or Surveillance background.
No felony convictions ever and no gross misdemeanor convictions within two years prior to appointment.
Must have a valid Washington State Driver’s license, or have the ability to obtain one within 30 days of hire.
Must be able to work alone or with others.
Must have knowledge or experience working in Indian Country.
