GENERAL SUMMARY

As an Automotive Virtual Platform Lead, you will have broad scope and work with multiple teams to develop transactional models of the SOC and surrounding system to enable accelerated software development and verification. Key activities include gathering SoC and IP component specifications, aligning development with project driven deliverables and milestones, supporting both internal and external stakeholders, and managing third party development partners.

Responsibilities:

+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams and customers on virtual platform definition and development

+ Development of test plans, bring up processes and automated regression testing

+ Support customer bring-up and debug

Required Qualifications:

+ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.

+ 8+ years of Systems engineering, virtual modeling or related work experience.

+ 2+ years of experience in one or more system architecture technology areas and products (e.g., CPU, On-chip communication protocols, Image processing, Automotive standard peripherals such as Ethernet, PCIe, USB, CAN)

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Proficient in TLM2.0 modeling

+ Hands-on experience with design, implementation, and test of SystemC models using virtual platform simulation environments such as Virtualizer

+ Strong programming capabilities in C/C++, Perl, python

+ Good knowledge of Object Oriented Hardware Verification Languages (OO-HVLs) such as SystemVerilog, as well as industry standard hardware description languages (HDLs) like Verilog/VHDL.

+ Hardware acceleration and FPGA emulation experience a plus

Physical Requirements

• Frequently transports between offices, buildings, and campuses up to ½ mile.

• Frequently transports and installs equipment up to 5 lbs.

• Performs required tasks at various heights (e.g., standing or sitting).

• Monitors and utilizes computers and test equipment for more than 6 hours a day.

• Continuous communication which includes the comprehension of information with colleagues, customers, and vendors both in person and remotely.
