Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Chief Financial Officer (CFO) role located in Wapato, WA. The CFO will oversee the financial strategy and operations of YAKAMA NATION HOUSING AUTHORITY, ensuring compliance with all regulations and financial best practices. Responsibilities include managing financial planning, tracking financial performance, preparing detailed financial reports, and providing strategic guidance on fiscal matters to support the organization’s mission. The CFO will also work closely with other leadership team members and external auditors to optimize financial performance and accountability.
Qualifications
Proficiency in Financial Planning, Financial Statements, and general Finance management
Strong Analytical Skills for evaluating financial data and forming strategic recommendations
Experience with Financial Reporting, including compliance with regulatory requirements
Advanced skills in budget development and management
Strong leadership and communication abilities to work closely with staff and stakeholders
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (required); CPA, CMA, or equivalent certification (preferred)
Knowledge of federal housing program regulations and financial administration is a plus
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, community-focused organizational environment
