Job Description: Under the supervision of the Senior Transportation Engineer, Caltrans (Construction Engineer), the Transportation Engineering Technician (Construction Field Technician) performs complex nonprofessional engineering duties in both field and office settings. This position is responsible for conducting field inspections across all phases of transportation construction projects, reviewing construction activities for compliance with safety regulations, ensuring accurate contract documentation, and carrying out other related responsibilities.
