Position: Cashier/Cook
Reports To: Grill Manager
Location: Enterprises
Classification: Non-Exempt – Full Time
Pay rate: $17/hr. -$18/hr.
Closing Date: Open Until Filled
Position Summary: This position requires a team player attitude, with good communication skills. This is a hands-on position, which includes Prep work, cooking, and receiving.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The following duties are considered essential for this job classification:
1. Daily production and preparation of all guest orders.
2. Daily maintenance of all BOH equipment.
3. Ensuring that high-quality food is served to every guest.
4. Adhere to county health department regulations.
5. Follow current COVID-19 procedures, and adhere to safety precautions.
6. Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
1. Must know how to read and execute written recipes.
2. The Cook will show a working knowledge of weights, measures, and various cooking techniques.
3. Familiar with FIFO and proper labeling procedures.
4. Familiar with flat top, fryer, oven, char grill, and pizza ovens.
5. Availability to work any shift.
6. A food handler certification is required within two weeks of hire.
Preferred:
EXPERIENCE IS PREFERRED.
