Inflammation, role of the macrophage, destruction by CD4 and CD8 T cells will be modelled in a microchamber in which islets and vascular cells are organized like in a normal islet. All cells come from the same patient by using differentiated cells from IPSCs. Immune activation and effector function will be studied by live microscopy and single cell analysis.
