Small Business Development Centers

Since its founding on July 30, 1953, the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) has delivered millions of loans, loan guarantees, contracts, counseling sessions and other forms of assistance to small businesses. SBA works with over 900 local partners to provide these services.

The Small Business Administration’s Office of Native American Affairs, (NAVBIZ) in cooperation with its Office of Veterans Business Development, is conducting an education and outreach program designed to promote growth and employment in small businesses owned and operated by Native American Veterans. The program also assists emerging entrepreneurs by teaching them how to utilize the resources of the SBA to develop a business plan, find financial assistance, and launch a new business.
